Whether it be for an aesthetically pleasing painting, children’s art, prints, a personal photograph, some sports memorabilia, needlepoint, or simply an inspiring quote, Linn Frames has been framing your memories since 2003.
Established in Scarborough, Maine, as a small in-home business, Linn Frames offers over fifteen years of experience. A graduate from New England Framing Academy, in Keene, NH, and mentored by the late master framer, Guy Lefebvre, formerly of Lowell Gallery in Lowell, MA, George Linn has a knack for keeping prices down by maintaining a low overhead expense while still offering a quality product.
First, as a way to supplement income from seasonal employment, Linn Frames has taken on a variety of forms over the years: started as a word-of-mouth business and working out of a basement to operating from an outfitted van, known as “Your Mobile Framer,” to its recent online presence and displaying work at Guiseppe’s Barber & Styling located at 825 E. Park Avenue, Fairmont, WV 26554.
Linn Frames has access to a variety of mouldings, mats, and framing supplies to meet your custom framing needs, but in an effort to offer quality framing at lower prices is now offering custom framing packages for standard sizes such as photographs, diplomas, etc. This service will soon be available online at www.linnframes.com.
George Linn, the framer, is available for your framing needs at Guiseppe’s on Tuesdays, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. , and Thursdays, from 1-5:30 p.m., starting October 29th and can be reached for appointment at 304-435-2522.
